SALLY-ANNE WHITTEN LAUNCHES “SELL MY SOUL”
“Sell My Soul” the 2nd album from Tamworth-based Sally-Anne Whitten was officially launched on Friday November 16th at the country music capital’s Wests’ Diggers club. With her band The Rumour Mill (who also plays on the new recording), Sally-Anne performed each of the 10 tracks that feature on her first release since 2009 along with tracks from her debut “Blurring The Lines” and some of her favourite songs from Jon Cleary, Bonnie Raitt and John Hiatt.
Playing to a packed Diggers’ Courtyard, Sally-Anne couldn’t have been happier with her home-town launch, “I was so excited to be there with my band, playing my songs to a huge crowd; that never gets old!”
Planning for the 2013 Tamworth Country Music Festival is now under away. Sally-Anne will be joining The Harmonators and Tracy Killeen for the ‘Lipstick, Lyrics And Laughter’ show at Wests’ Diggers Showroom on January 25th at 3pm. For bookings: http://www.wtlc.com.au/
